I saw a tic tac toe garden table shared on Facebook and decided that was something I would really like to have for my garden (and granddaughters).
You can order a pre-cut round board from the home supply stores but my husband used a thick piece of plywood and cut it in a circle. We stained it with some deck stain and sealer that we had on hand. And added a black game grid with paint.
I got an assortment of river rocks for the game pieces.
I went with ladybugs and bumble bees and sprayed the rocks with enamel paint.
Used oil paint and my limited artistic abilities to add the details. Then I sprayed with clear enamel.
Added a piece of a log the base of the table. My husband plans to split a smaller log and add two small benches.
All I need now is two sweet little granddaughters to come for a visit and we will have a rousing game of tic tac toe!
Nice job! So much better that you and your husband created it yourselves! Have fun with your grandchildren.
