I have been absent from the blog for awhile – too busy with work, family and chores at home. This summer my husband and I spent almost three weeks traveling around Alaska in a RV. We had visited 25 years ago when we did a stop-over on our way to South Korea. It was as beautiful as I remembered. If you like mountains, nature and wildlife, it is a wonderful place to visit.
Here are a few random photos. I will try and do some more organized posts of the trip in later days. Thanks!
Alaska is such a beautiful state! It was one of the first places I have traveled to in my life. Such a privilege!

I stopped off at Anchorage Airport while passing through to another destination. I have seen photographs of Alaska and very much want to travel there myself one day. Wish I had a camper to do it in as it sure would make for a nicer trip. Nice photographs mary.

Thanks a lot – a beautiful place. And a camper is a great way to see the state. We just took off driving and never had difficulty finding a campground – either private, Bureau of Land Management or state park. There are lots of places to park a camper overnight which makes for a very flexible schedule.
