My memories of my mother are intertwined with quilts. Whenever she was resting, she had her quilt pieces in her hands and we made many trips to fabric stores to find just the right fabric. She pieced by hand and fortunately had a friend who liked to quilt. So as soon as another quilt top was completed, we made a trip to see Mrs. Berryman to have her start quilting. The Quilts category highlights some of the my favorite quilts that were handed down from my mother, some that I made and some that were picked up at antique or flea markets.
